Information on paying for your CGCC classes

Once you've enrolled, you will need to set up a method of payment. We understand that managing college expenses can be challenging, and we're here to support you every step of the way. Below, we’ve outlined steps for ensuring your enrollment is secure. 

Failure to fulfill your financial obligations for your program may result in being removed from classes you've enrolled in!

Ways to Pay

PAYING WITH FINANCIAL AID

Complete all steps of the process:

  • Apply for federal student aid (FAFSA) and use CGCC’s school code 041519. Students who are not eligible for FAFSA but who are Oregon residents may be eligible to receive funding through ORSAA. 
  • Create an account with Global Financial Aid (CGCC’s financial aid processor).
  • Log into your student portal (MyCGCC), click on “My Financial Aid,” and select the “Global” link.
  • Create an account.
  • Make sure to check your CGCC email for Next Steps from Global or Global FAS.
  • Complete any Next Steps to finish the process to receive your financial aid.

You may receive one or more requests for additional information from Global. Check your inbox frequently, and provide all requested documentation in a timely manner. Make sure to continue until all requirements are satisfied.
Once complete, you’ll receive an email with a notification that you have been awarded

SELF PAY

Use one of the following ways to pay in full:

  • Online - Make a payment through your student portal at my.cgcc.edu/cmcportal 
  • Log in, then go to My Finances > Make Payment Online
  • From the Make a Payment screen, add a payment method (debit or credit card).
  • In person - Visit the Business Office in Bldg. 2 or Student Services in Bldg. 3 (Hood River Campus on Tues & Thurs) 
  • By Phone - Call the Business Office (541) 506-6057, or Student Services (541) 506-6011, option 2 

PAYMENT PLAN (pay in installments) 

Only available in person at the Business Office in Bldg. 2, The Dalles Campus

  • To set up an installment payment plan, please contact the business office at studentpayments@cgcc.edu and request this payment option via email.
