Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI)

As a federally-designated Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI), CGCC is committed to serving the unique needs of this rapidly growing segment of the community through extended outreach and support systems, which, ultimately, benefit all our students. Membership in the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) gives CGCC access to professional development opportunities and a network of colleges around the world from which promising practices can be gleaned for the benefit of CGCC students. Additionally, membership in HACU affords CGCC students access to resources that can enhance their college experience, like paid internships, as well as additional financial support in the form of scholarships.
