College & Career Expo 2025

Registrations for tabling at the event are now closed for vendors. If you are interested in hosting a breakout session, please submit your presentation here.

If you are a school hoping to bring students, please contact the event coordinator, Jessica Griffin Conner, at jconner@cgcc.edu and you will be emailed a link to the form. Schools are still welcome to register.

We are excited to announce the College & Career Expo 2025, happening on April 18, 2025! This is a unique opportunity to connect with local employers, explore educational pathways, and attend valuable workshops designed to support your career and academic goals.

Event Details:

  • April 18, 2025
  • CGCC The Dalles Campus, 400 East Scenic Drive, The Dalles
  • Vendor "trade show" floor for business, industry, and college presenters in Building 10/Readiness Center
  • Workshops and tours around campus

Preliminary Agenda:

  • Vendor & Presenter Setup: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM
  • Keynote Presentation & Student Sessions: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Includes lunch)
    • Students will have their choice of sessions and workshops to attend!
  • Vendor Lunch: 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM
  • Community & Job Seekers Sessions: 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM
  • Vendor breakdown: 3:00 - 3:30

  • AI 101: How to navigate and understand the ethics of Artificial Intelligence.
  • Personal Finance: Financial planning, budgeting, and managing your money.

  • Campus Tour: Explore CGCC’s resources and student services.
  • Skill Center Workshops: Hands-on sessions to build your career-ready skills.

  • Resume Building: Tips and techniques to create a standout resume.
  • Career Exploration: Discover job opportunities and paths for growth.
  • Employability Skills: Improve your job readiness with key skills for success.
