Background
Professor Layton is a finance leader who specializes in non-profit organizations. For five years, she was Director of Financial Operations at Providence Health and Services in the Columbia Gorge. She has a degree in business administration and an MBA, both from Concordia University.
Professor Layton has been an auditor with KMPG as well as a strategic, accounting, and business operations consultant for several non-profit organizations in the Pacific Northwest in the areas of healthcare, human services, and energy efficiency. She has held board member and executive committee roles at The Next Door, Columbia Gorge Health Council, The Heart Gallery of Oregon, and Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA).
