Noemí Ochoa
Assistant Director of Child Care Partners
Background
Noemí developed her passion for Early Childhood Education at Mount Hood Community College. While exploring her career options, she took the introductory ECE class and fell in love with the importance of supporting young children's development through play. During her summer breaks from college, she worked as a floater at Oregon Child Development Coalition and as a Peer Counselor with The Next Door Inc. Most of Noemí's experience has been in working with Infants and Toddlers in various capacities; as an Assistant Teacher, Head Teacher, Home Visitor, and Family Health Advocate at Early Head Start in White Salmon, WA.
Noemí joined the Child Care Partners team in 2013 as the Bilingual Early Childhood Specialist. Many title changes later, she is now the Assistant Director at Child Care Partners. Noemí continues her work as the Bilingual Infant & Toddler Specialist and continues to work closely with our Spanish Speaking Early Care and Education Professionals through training, technical assistance, business practices, and supporting the increase of quality child care in our region.
She also works closely with local partners and organizations to advocate for Early Childhood Education and Care Professionals, especially those that speak a language other than English.
Please feel free to reach out to her for any support you may need.
