Background

I have been teaching at Columbia Gorge Community College since 2013. I began teaching Reading and Writing I in the precollege program, and transitioned into teaching Reading 115 and College Success courses. Currently, I teach Reading 115 and have developed a new Shakespeare course for the college. I have also developed curriculum for the Realizing Your Potential course offered at CGCC.

I have lived in the Gorge since 2000 and worked in area public schools for ten years before applying at Columbia Gorge Community College. I feel very fortunate to be a member of this vibrant community and hope my efforts as an instructor at CGCC will make a positive difference in the lives of students.
