Background
Professor Adams is a proven business manager with extensive experience at companies such as Intel Corporation, Hewlett-Packard, Pegasus Tech Ventures, and Young & Rubicam. He successfully managed diverse teams in product management, marketing, communications, and advertising. He is also extremely knowledgeable about economic development and entrepreneurship from his tenure at Intel Capital, Intel’s venture capital organization.
Professor Adams completed his undergraduate degree in economics at Vanderbilt University and has an MBA from Indiana University. During his MBA studies, he wrote the first corporate responsibility report for Silicon Graphics. Prior to joining CGCC he taught undergraduate students as a graduate assistant.
He is active in philanthropy and was awarded the 40 Under 40 leadership honor by the Portland Business Journal.
