Bio

Me gradué de Columbia Gorge Community College en 2021 con un título de Asociado en Ciencias con enfoque en Negocios para Transferencia en Oregón, y me da mucho orgullo ahora trabajar aquí en Vida Estudiantil como Navegadora de Recursos. En mi trabajo apoyo a los estudiantes a conectarse con recursos para que tengan cubiertas sus necesidades básicas, porque sé por experiencia lo importante que es contar con apoyo mientras uno estudia.

Ser bilingüe me da la oportunidad de acompañar a estudiantes y a nuestra comunidad en inglés y en español. También soy asesora del club estudiantil Alianza de Género y Sexualidad (GSA), donde disfruto trabajar junto con los estudiantes mientras crean comunidad y espacios de pertenencia en el campus.

En 2025 recibí el premio Rising Star en la Conferencia de Éxito y Retención Estudiantil, así como el Premio a la Excelencia del Personal de CGCC tanto en verano como en todo el año. Aunque me siento orgullosa de esos reconocimientos, lo que más valoro es poder regresar un poco de lo mucho que esta comunidad me dio cuando yo fui estudiante.

I graduated from Columbia Gorge Community College in 2021 with an Associate of Science Oregon Transfer – Business degree, and I’m proud to now work here in Student Life as a Resource Navigator. In my role, I help students connect with resources to make sure their basic needs are met, because I know from experience how important it is to have support while pursuing an education.

Being bilingual gives me the chance to support students and our community in both English and Spanish. I also advise the student-led Gender & Sexuality Alliance (GSA), where I get to work alongside students as they build community and create space for belonging on campus.

In 2025, I received the Rising Star Award at the Student Success and Retention Conference and CGCC’s Staff Excellence Award for both Summer Term and the overall year. While I’m proud of those recognitions, what means the most to me is being able to give back to the same community that once supported me as a student.
