Ashley was born and raised in the Columbia River Gorge and has held many positions within the field of Early Childhood Education. The positions include: nanny (infants/toddlers), Head Start child care assistant, Head Start Associate Teacher, stay-at-home-parent and homeschool teacher, small business owner (curriculum designer), preschool teacher for a "Reggio inspired" certified family child care, child care center director, professional development navigator for Child Care Partners (our local CCR&R agency), and an ECE instructor (since 2017). 

They live in Hood River County with their husband, two children, dog, and 3 rabbits. For fun, Ashley loves watching Blazer games, working on DIY projects, reading, doing yoga, hiking, camping, kayaking, boating, and spending time at the Oregon Coast.
