Course Description
Trains for performance in theater production in a large leading role, if cast. Incorporates first-hand experience in performance techniques. Audition required. Audit available.
Course Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic within a professional framework of collaboration.
- Perform as an ensemble member in a large leading role.
- Rehearse and memorize a role and the blocking.
- Analyze a play from his/her point of view as a company member.
- Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of the cultural and historical context of the play.

Course Activities and Design
