Mindful Stress Management Workshop
As the school year gets started, it’s a great time to learn some new ways of dealing with stress. In this short session, you will learn about how your mind and body are affected by stress as well as pick up a few tools on how to take care of yourself when times get tough! If you have ever wanted to learn about mindfulness, now is your chance! We will do a couple of experiential exercises to teach you about how to calm anxiety, de-stress and take life in stride. Come join us as we learn a few tips and tricks to staying balanced so you can have a great fall term! Students, Staff and Faculty are welcome to attend!
Rebecca Hunter, MSW is a proud alumni of CGCC and a graduate of Portland State University’s social work program. She’s been a social worker in the Gorge for 12 years, empowering a wide variety of people to heal from trauma, take charge of their lives, and gain balance. Rebecca is currently living her dream of working for herself in private practice in beautiful downtown Hood River. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, playing tennis and hanging out with her family.
