Financial aid workshops offered through October
CGCC students and prospective students are invited to participate in several opportunities to learn about financial aid. Financial aid application workshops are designed to help you complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), ORSAA (Oregon Student Aid Application) and WASFA (Washington Application for Student Aid) applications.
If you are a current student or potential student planning to attend college in the fall of 2018-19, now is the time to submit your application for consideration for financial aid. Some funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so it’s important to apply now in order to be considered. These financial aid applications opened Oct. 1, 2017.
CGCC is sponsoring financial aid workshops throughout October, every Thursday from 5:30 to 8 pm on both campuses (Hood River - Indian Creek Campus and The Dalles Campus), every Friday at Hood River - Indian Creek Campus from 9 to 11:30 am and The Dalles Campus from 11:30 am. to 2 pm.
If you’d like to know more about your options for state and federal financial aid and scholarships, please attend our "Finding Funding for Oregon Students" workshops at The Dalles Campus (Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017) and Hood River - Indian Creek Campus (Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017) from 6 pm to 8 pm. A light meal and childcare services will be provided.
Below are links to more information about your options for financial aid and scholarships.
We look forward to seeing you at one or more of these events, and we encourage you to invite family and friends to participate.
